Randall L. Hester, President, Cinema Media Marketing, Inc.  
 


Randall L. Hester brings more than 28 years of experience in banking, finance, promotions, marketing, public relations, real estate, acquisitions and other business experiences including 11 years in commercial banking and 17 years in the motion picture exhibition industry.

Mr. Hester served as Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Cinemark USA, Inc. for 13 years where he engaged in theatre acquisitions and divestitures; real estate acquisition and leasing; market surveys and analysis; raised private equity; managing government and press relations; managing advertising, marketing, film promotions and public relations; served as national corporate press spokesperson; developed and executed internet marketing, corporate branding, digital cinema/pre-show advertising strategies; media asset sales; trade association representation (State and National NATO); charity/political fundraising and community affairs.

Mr. Hester began his career in theatrical exhibition as Chief Financial Officer at Presidio Theatres, Inc. in Austin, TX where he managed all financial operations in addition to real estate, acquisitions, leasing, banking and the sale of non-theatre real estate, cable television assets and other holding unrelated to the theatre operations. He negotiated the sale of the theatres to Act III Communications which subsequently became Regal Cinema.

Mr. Hester began his business career in the commercial and corporate banking industry in Austin. Mr. Hester served as Senior Vice President of Regional/Corporate Banking at Texas Commerce Bank and subsequently as President and CEO of Bank of the West in Austin.

Mr. Hester serves as Legislative Affairs Advisor to South Central States NATO (National Association of Theatre Owners for Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas) and was formerly Executive Director of South Central States NATO and President of NATO of Texas. He currently serves on the board of directors of NATO of Texas and is a member of the board and Chief Barker for Variety Club of North Texas, Tent 17. Mr. Hester has also served as Chairman of the Dallas/Fort Worth Regional Film Commission.

Mr. Hester holds a BBA and MBA in Marketing from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
