2006 VARIETY NATIONAL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE - BUFFALO

U.S. Variety's 2006 National Conference in Buffalo, NY, was a tremendous success. The 3-day event began with a welcome from Variety child Zach Andrews and Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown. Their presence and uplifting words made for a fantastic start to our gathering.

We hosted speakers from the local media outlets, the Better Business Bureau, and business leaders covering topics such as partnering with local media outlets, the importance of financial standards, the expansion of our national mobility program, brand unity, board governance and development and organizational change.

In addition to the educational aspect of the conference, each evening’s dinner provided a great chance to wind down, allow everyone across Variety to come together and get to know everyone out there who shares their passion.

Variety of Pittsburgh will serve as host to the 2007 National Leadership Conference and next year’s conference will continue the trend of promoting learning, new initiatives and camaraderie among the Variety family.
